Green Hornet: Reign of the Demon by David Liss
Green Hornet: Reign of the Demon by David Liss
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this! It's a lot of fun. Set during world war II the slang and dialogue is entertaining. It's also quite a complicated story with secret identities, a new bad guy (Demone), and a new masked man shows up, The Swashbuckler, but is he a hero or working with Demone. There is a mystery throughout and we don't know who these two new masked men are. We do find out the identity of one by the end but throughout I kept guessing who might be one of them only to be proven wrong. A great read but I'm not overly fond of the art: Britt Reid looked weird from his usual appearance though Kato was spot on.
