This is a wonderful story about middle school. It's sweet, clean and realistic. Nobody has any "issues" but bullying is a topic. Mostly though it's about competition between the art club and the science club. Seemingly opposite interests, until they learn about Leonardo Da Vinci. The book is about middle school though it will appeal to younger ages. It may be somewhat juvenile for older ages. I enjoyed the story; thought it was great but as an adult did find that the book didn't transcend into an adult read. The art is great and very expressive; I just wasn't taken by the colour scheme which looked washed out using pastel colours (pink, light blue and yellow) contrasted with three shades of brown. Great story for the intended audience.
