23. Magnus: Between Two Worlds by Kyle Higgins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Excellent science fiction comic. Kyle Higgens always tells a mean story and Jorge Fornes's art is great. A story of a future world where robots with artificial intelligence have become the lowest class, working as slaves, but they have developed free will and a showdown between AIs and humans is coming. In this volume Magnus, an AI psychologist manages to stop the current situation from resulting in a war. She sympathises with the AI though and has plans for the future. Magnus is a wonderfully written character and this plot was interesting and compelling. I was hooked from the beginning and read it in one sitting.
