This volume is very different because it shifts focus to Bishamonten and her ongoing struggles, further developing her character so that she is much more than just the "bad guy" we've been introduced to so far. This is all new information for us to process and while Yato is present he doesn't have much of a part in the plot, no cases to work on, nor any of his usual humour. In fact, the humour from the previous volumes is gone in this one. All the characters are present, but Bishamonten is where the concentration lies making it hard for me to truly enjoy this volume as much as the others. I'm sure this is a pivotal point in the plot but will have to get to the next volume to see how it plays out.
